maryland establishes a state-wide health information exchange
On August 5, 2009, the Health Services Cost Review Commission formally accepted the recommendaton of the Maryland Health Care Commission to designate the Chesapeake Regional Information System for our Patients (CRISP) as the state-wide Health Information Exchange for Maryland. Dynamed Solutions has been working with CRISP and its predecessor planning efforts since 2007, and is now working in a system integrator capacity to implement the use cases of the exchange.

Sleep Services of America (SSA), a GE company, will pilot the HealtheTrax compliance module to monitor patients undergoing initial CPAP therapy at home. By utilizing the HealtheTrax communication platform, SSA will be able to make adjustments to therapy levels if needed to ensure long-term compliance and patient benefit.

The Maryland Health Care Commission has a warded a planning grant to the Chesapeake Regional Information System for our Patients (CRISP) to conduct a nine-month project aimed designing a state-wide Health Information Exchange. CRISP members include Johns Hopkins Medicine, University of Maryland Medical System, Medstar Health, and Erickson Retirement Communities. Dynamed is playing a key role in strategic design for this project.
